I am currently enrolled in IK and have been using the program actively. For context, I have gone through a good portion of the 4 major sections of the program (coding, system design, domain, behavioral/resume), I just started interviewing and have not yet gotten an offer. I am going back to finish some of the sessions I missed, refreshing my memory on others, and in general doing more practice. I really like IK for many reasons. Just a few that comes to mind:* A lot of the instructors are really good and knowledgeable and genuinely interested in helping you.* I just want to dedicate a bullet point to Niloy Mukhurjee. He provides a detailed, comprehensive approach to tackling system design problems and I listen to his recorded sessions again and again to help me prepare for system design interviews. He attends a number of the system design office hours and can address a variety of questions from various students.* Most of the live sessions are well prepared and organized. All sessions give us opportunities to ask questions, and some provide more interactions. I recall one session I attended on tree coding problems where I worked through a problem with the instructor live and that did help me learn faster.* The curriculum is well structured and comprehensive. It covers the basics with the foundational materials and it also goes deep with the instructional materials and practice problems that range from basic to hard to very hard. I felt overwhelmed about the variety of types of problems out there for both coding and system design; IK gave me a well defined path for tackling those problems category by category and helps me understand how to prepare in an organized fashion.* I’ve had good successes with the office hours. I’ve gotten stuck on specific coding problems and the specific help I got during office hours did help me understand how to approach the problems to get unstuck. I’ve been able to prepare for and practice “mini-mock” system design interviews during office hours and gotten good feedback on how to get better. I’ve learned good stuff from the office hours on behavioral interviews and domain specific topics as well.
