As a Product Manager (Tech) at PayPal, I am responsible for driving the development of innovative products and services that meet customer needs while ensuring maximum return on investment. My role is to create, maintain and enhance products that are both technically robust and commercially viable. I use a combination of technical knowledge, business acumen and product design principles to develop products and services that meet customer needs and expectations. To start, I work with stakeholders to understand and define product requirements. This includes engaging with customers to determine their needs, researching the competitive landscape, and making recommendations on how to differentiate the product or service. I also work to define the product vision and strategy, identify user stories and key features, and ensure alignment with overall company objectives. I am also responsible for the design and development of the product. This includes working with engineers and designers to develop technical solutions, features and UI/UX. From there, I ensure that the product is tested and validated before release. I also monitor product performance and help to troubleshoot any issues. In addition to developing the product, I also manage the product lifecycle. This involves managing the product roadmap, setting goals, and developing plans for marketing, pricing and customer support. I also ensure that the product continues to meet customer needs by tracking usage and gathering feedback. As a Product Manager, I am passionate about creating products that make a positive difference to customers.
